Saturday Morning Family Club Activities
Kids, mums and dads can all enjoy action-packed arty fun at our Family Club including art and crafts, story-telling and more. Just drop in anytime on Saturday morning between 10am and 12pm (except where stated otherwise). Activities cost £1 per child for the whole session. All our activities are suitable for children aged four years and over accompanied by an adult (unless stated otherwise). There are a limited number of spaces available on some sessions. Places are allocated on a first come first served basis.
[Non Family Club members can attend for £2.50 per session.]
Discounted theatre tickets
Buy tickets to family shows at a reduced price, with a priority booking period on best seats at the start of each season. Look out for the special offers flyer which goes to members with the family brochure with a special on sale date exclusively for Family Club. Tickets sell fast so make sure you book quickly!
REMEMBER! You only need to book tickets for a group of 4 for one family show per year to make your money back!

Family Club timetable
29 April: Mixed Media- Make a drawing using paint, ink, wax crayons, pen and a variety of tools to tell a story about your favourite person.
6 May: Egg Head- Make a magnetised egg shaped head with stick on features to attach to a steel object using pens, wool and more.
13 May: Artful Playground story telling sessions- Two sessions at 10am and 11am.
20 May: Design a toy- Draw an imaginary toy design on paper.
27 May: Jewellery making- Make and decorate your own jewellery with rolled paper, beads, leather and foam.
3 June: Summer Solstice drawing- Create a beautiful, richly coloured oil pastel drawing inspired by Pierre Bonnard.
10 June: Plaster paper weight- Pour your own plaster mould paper weight, with an attached peg for small paper notes, and decorate for Father's Day.
17 June: Artful Playground story telling sessions- Two sessions at 10am and 11am.
24 June: This session will take place at Trafford Town Hall, Stretford between 11.30-13.30 and will be free
1 July: Jewellery- Make and decorate your own jewelley with rolled paper, beads, leather and foam.
8 July: Clay models- Make a clay walrus or penguin.
15 July: Decorative fabric covered box- Cover a box with fabic and decorate using stencils, gel pens and ribbon.
