Families are invited to join our fantastic Family Club for just £7.50 per family per year for a range of benefits including:

  • Discounted theatre tickets throughout the year

  • Over half price entry to Saturday morning Family Club activities

    Saturday Morning Family Club Activities

    Kids, mums and dads can all enjoy action-packed arty fun at our Family Club including art and crafts, story-telling and more. Just drop in anytime on Saturday morning between 10am and 12pm (except where stated otherwise). Activities cost £1 per child for the whole session.  All our activities are suitable for children aged four years and over accompanied by an adult (unless stated otherwise). There are a limited number of spaces available on some sessions. Places are allocated on a first come first served basis.

     [Non Family Club members can attend for £2.50 per session.]


    Discounted theatre tickets

    Buy tickets to family shows at a reduced price, with a priority booking period on best seats at the start of each season.  Look out for the special offers flyer which goes to members with the family brochure with a special on sale date exclusively for Family Club.  Tickets sell fast so make sure you book quickly!


    REMEMBER! You only need to book tickets for a group of 4 for one family show per year to make your money back!


    Exclusive events - new for 2016/17!

    Get invitations to exclusive events including meeting the cast, going behind the scenes and other VIP events only open to Family Club members throughout the year.

    14 January: Cityscape crayon & ink wash-   Draw a wax crayon Manchester city skyline with an inky sunrise.


    21 January: Paint a small 3D planet to place on a wire spring stand.


    28 January: Chinese New Year-  Make a  free standing 3D rooster using feathers, tissue paper and wire to celebrate Chinese New Year.


    4 February: Dragon puppet- Make a colourful concertina paper puppet to twist and turn, using assorted papers, felt tips and lolly sticks.


     11 February: Make a small reindeer to mount on your wall using paper pulp, wire and tissue paper.


    18 February: Celebrate our Aardman Exhibition by creating a Clay 3D cheese and cup of tea fridge magnet in a TV frame.


    25 February: Make a 3D card fire engine or something similar to the ones in our Aardman exhibition.


    4 March: Make a Map of your favourite places in Manchester using pens, pencils and felt tips on large paper.


    11 March: Decorate a flower press inspired by William Morris ahead of spring to press your favourite flowers in.


    18 March: Picture with photo frame-  Draw a day and night picture to put in a photo frame to celebrate the Spring Equinox on 20 March.


    25 March: Make a special gift box and card for Mother’s Day with card, paper, felt tips and glitter glue.


    1 April: Joke Book- Make and decorate a book to fill with your favourite jokes and pranks on April Fool’s day.


    8 April: Make an Easter Bonnet shaped card for Easter with felt tips, ribbon, glitter glue and more.




    22 April: Artful Playground Story telling session


    29 April: Mixed Media- Make a drawing using paint, ink, wax crayons, pen and a variety of tools to tell a story about your favourite person.
