Waterside Arts Centre prides itself on the quality of its free visual art exhibitions which showcase both established figures and exciting contemporary artists.

Work is displayed across the centre's three gallery spaces which together maintain a rich and varied programme.

OUR GALLERIES:

The Lauriston Gallery

The Lauriston Gallery is an airy, well lit space overlooking the picturesque Waterside Plaza and Bridgewater Canal. A dedicated gallery, The Lauriston is the centre's main art space. It is reserved for solo shows and touring exhibitions by established figures and contemporary artists.

Free entry Monday to Saturday 10am - 5pm (except when being used for private functions. Please ring ahead of your visit to check: 0161 912 5616)


The Gallery Bar

The Gallery Bar hosts group or solo shows by local artists. The space features a large window along one wall and the work is illuminated by high-spec directional lighting.

Free entry Monday to Saturday 10am - 5pm.

The Corridor Gallery

The Corridor Gallery is used for the display of small exhibitions and innovative community art projects.
